Import settings & limits

Settings apply to newly added CSV/TSV files. Up to 8 sources; 8 MiB per file, 24 MiB total source bytes; 50,000 rows, 100 columns and 500,000 cells per table; 1,000,000 source cells in total. No XLSX support. JSON must be a flat object array.

Edit columns

Rename, reorder or exclude columns. Changes update a separate result preview automatically; original sources stay unchanged.

A clearer view starts with one table.

Add a CSV or TSV, or try three examples. Your input stays in this tab. No account, upload or spreadsheet installation.

A reproducible example.

Input

id,name,internal_note
001,Zoë,reviewed
002,张三,private

Expected output

person,id
Zoë,001
张三,002

Steps to follow.

  1. Import the file. Rename name to person.
  2. Move person above id using the up button. Exclude internal_note.
  3. Check that the values remain attached to their original columns. The preview updates automatically.
  4. Download the full result. Restore all returns excluded columns in this editing session; the source file is never overwritten.

Formats, matching and limits.

Keep at least one column. Names must be non-empty, unique and no longer than 200 characters. Column edits change structure only: this tool does not edit individual cells or calculate formulas. Source and output table limits remain 50,000 rows, 100 columns and 500,000 cells.

All processing happens in your browser. Use file selection and downloads in a modern Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. Source files stay unchanged; leaving or reloading clears the temporary data session.

Problems worth checking.

A duplicate-name error appears.

Give each retained column a unique name. Downloads stay disabled until a valid preview is ready.

An excluded column is needed again.

Use Restore on its row or Restore all. Exclusions apply to the new result, not the source.

The result contains sensitive values.

Removing a column excludes it from this export, but does not erase the original file or other copies. Check the downloaded file before sharing.
